Introduction
As a newcomer to the Sportsbetting World staff I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jack Thurman and I’m a 25 year veteran sports handicapping and professional bettor. I’ll be writing articles about the ‘nuts and bolts’ of being a successful sports bettor, winning handicapping concepts and giving out free picks and analysis. I’m not here to sell anything or promote anything, just to share whatever knowledge and experience I’ve accumulated over a lifetime in sports gambling.
My philosophy as a handicapper has been to always go where the value is. In addition to the ‘big’ wagering sports like NFL and college football, we’ll be talking about and dealing with everything else as well from NHL hockey to European soccer and everything in between. There’s plenty of people who will give you writeups and picks on high profile events, but my primary goal is to teach you how to make money as a ‘working’ sports gambler. Recreational players can benefit as well, but keep in mind that my primary objective is profitablity and not entertainment value.
It’s a busy time of year in the sports gambling world, and in general the more ‘action’ on the board the greater opportunity to find value and make money. We’ll jump right into the early bowl games and late season NFL, and go from there. If you have any questions about sports betting or handicapping you’d like me to answer, or topics you’d like to see covered drop me an email at jackglisansports@gmail.com. I’ll respond to all email personally and will address as many questions and topics as possible here on the website.
So thanks for reading, and let’s make some money!
