While players are focusing on World Series betting odds, NFL betting players will watch a game taking place in London’s famous Wembley Stadium for the third consecutive year, as Tom Brady and New England are the “visitors” when they meet winless Tampa Bay. After last week’s performance by the Patriots, the Buccaneers may just want to stay home.

Patriots vs Buccaneers odds – Sunday, October 25, 1:00 PM ET

Where to even start in last week’s 59-0 humiliation of Tennessee? Tom Brady went 29-of-34 for 380 yards and six touchdowns, becoming the first player to throw five in one quarter when he lit up the Titans in a snowstorm. The 45-0 halftime lead was the largest in NFL history, and the Pats racked up a ridiculous 619 yards while holding the ball for 39 minutes. They also held the Titans to -7 passing yards….that’s right, MINUS SEVEN. Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher said some things about the Patriots when “Spygate” went down, and Bill Belichick may never admit to payback, but it sure looked like it.

The Bucs gave up a last-minute touchdown to fall 28-21 to Carolina at home, and their offense was awful, gaining only 245 yards. Two of their touchdowns came via special teams and defense as Josh Johnson is still getting used to the NFL. Johnson was 11-of-17 for 147 yards and a pick, while Cadillac Williams ran for 77 yards and a score. At least the Bucs have been competitive in two of the last three games.

The Patriots are 14.5-point favorites in this contest, and they shut out the Bucs 28-0 on the road in their last meeting, which was in 2005. This could be along the same lines, as the Patriots gained a lot of confidence from last week’s execution. But let’s not put too much stock in it, as the Titans clearly rolled over for the Patriots in the second half. On both sides of the ball, the Patriots are just more talented, and they’re well coached. Go with New England to cover in your sportsbook.
