Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

There is no question at this point in his NFL career that Aaron Rodgers is amongst the top three quarterbacks in the league as he has all the tools to be a Hall of Fame caliber quarterback, but even though he still has some doubters around the league, the Green Bay Packers gunslinger will prove why he is one of the best QBs in the league with perhaps his best game of the season against the Detroit Lions in Week 4.

There are quite a few favorable matchups for big-name quarterbacks this week, but I can’t see any of them out performing Aaron Rodgers.

Other notable QBs: Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts; Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints; Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles

Running Back

Arian Foster, Houston Texans

In Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts, running back Arian Foster became a household name as he absolutely torched the Colts secondary for a league-high 231 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

This was surprising to say the least, but no fluke as the up and coming running back has continued to produce for the Houston Texans over the past two weeks.

In Week 4, the Houston Texans will look to their running back once again against the lowly run defense of the Oakland Raiders.

Other notable RBs: Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans; Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers; Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders

Wide Receiver

Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons

Over the past two weeks, the Atlanta Falcons have been able to bounce back from their Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers by beating the Arizona Cardinals and the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints in consecutive games.

Not only has the team as a whole been impressive, but the Falcons offense has been firing on all cylinders once again and will look to continue that fact in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers where wide receiver Roddy White could have a huge day.

Other notable WRs: Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts; DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles; Randy Moss, New England Patriots

Tight End

Jermichael Finley, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL and even though they are coming off their first loss of the season to the Chicago Bears, they are still as good as it gets in the passing game with up and coming tight end Jermichael Finley quickly becoming one of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets.

Against the Detroit Lions in Week 4, Finley should have some big numbers with one or two touchdowns to his credit.

Other notable TEs: Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers; Dallas Clark, Indianapolis Colts; Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers

Defense

Green Bay Packers

The Detroit Lions are getting no relief here as their offense will have their hands full trying to hold off reigning Defensive Player of the Year Charles Woodson and a quarterback’s worst nightmare in Clay Matthews who already has six sacks on the season in just three games.

Other notable Defenses: Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens
