St. Louis Rams v Cleveland Browns

Quarterback

Sam Bradford, St. Louis Rams

The St. Louis Rams may be primarily a running football team with superstar running back Steven Jackson coming out of the backfield, but with Jackson’s injury prone ways the Rams seem to be evolving into a passing team with rookie quarterback Sam Bradford leading the way.

Sam Bradford might not be as good as Matt Ryan when he was a rookie, but he is getting better every single week and becoming a solid backup fantasy football quarterback for anyone looking for a stand in for their starting quarterbacks bye week.

Other notable QBs: Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles

Running Back

Peyton Hillis, Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are arguably one of the worst teams in the league once again this season, but their running game seems to be getting better with every passing week ever since running back Peyton Hillis emerged as a force to be reckoned with coming out of the Browns backfield.

With a breakout performance of 144 yards and a touchdown last week against the Baltimore Ravens defense, Hillis has proven that he is a relevant fantasy football running back from here on out.

Other notable RBs: BenJarvus Green Ellis, New England Patriots

Wide Receiver

Brandon Lloyd, Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos may be 1-2 heading into Week 4, but they do have an offense led by quarterback Kyle Orton that is starting to come around as he gets more and more comfortable with his young receiving corps.

In Week 3, rookie wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was the go to guy in the offense for Orton, but last week it was Brandon Lloyd that stepped it up as he catch six passes for 169 yards and a touchdown.

Even though Thomas might ultimately become the number one option in the passing game, Lloyd is a solid number two and could get you some good numbers every week.

Other notable WRs: Legedu Naanee, San Diego Chargers

Tight End

Jeremy Shockey, New Orleans Saints

Over the past couple of years, tight end Jeremy Shockey has gone from fantasy stud to a fantasy dud, but after last week’s performance of 78 yards and touchdown, the outspoken tight end has become relevant once again.

So if your running a little thin at tight end, Shockey would be good pick up this week.

Other notable TEs: Tony Moeaki, Kansas City Chiefs

Defense

Indianapolis Colts

If you are in need of a defense for Week 4 picking up the Indianapolis Colts would be a good idea as they will take on the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Colts aren’t a team you think about when thinking about a dominant defense, but they do have some of the best defensive players in the game with defensive end Dwight Freeney leading the way.

Other notable Defenses: St. Louis Rams, Atlanta Falcons
