Fighters took to the scales in preparation for Bellator Fighting Championships’ debut in Shreveport, Louisiana, tomorrow night. The eight quarterfinal competitors will be showcasing their talents in front of a packed house at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in hopes of becoming the next Bellator Lightweight Champion.
Bellator 36 will be broadcast LIVE on Saturday, March 12th at 9:00pm ET/8:00pm CT exclusively on MTV2.
The official results of tonight’s weigh-in are as follows:
MAIN CARD:
Rob McCullough (155.8 lbs.) vs. Patricky Freire (155.2 lbs.) @ 155 lbs.
Toby Imada (155.8 lbs.) vs. Ferrid Kheder (N/A lbs.) @ 155 lbs.
Carey Vanier (155.2 lbs.) vs. Lloyd Woodard (155.4 lbs.) @ 155 lbs.
Marcin Held (155.2 lbs.) vs. Mike Chandler (156 lbs.) @ 155 lbs.
UNDERCARD:
Javone Duhon (149.4 lbs.) vs. Booker Arthur (144.6 lbs.) @ 145 lbs.
Matt Hunt (150.2 lbs.) vs. Kevin Aguilar (145 lbs.) @ 145 lbs.
Kalvin Hackney (156.6 lbs.) vs. Josh Shockley (156 lbs.) @ 155 lbs.
Kelly Leo (185.2 lbs.) vs. Chad Leonhardt (185.6 lbs.) @ 185 lbs.
UPDATE:
It was announced that Kheder would be weighing in after the stream, but sources at the arena informed me that he had left the weigh ins without weighing in. No one is really sure why, but he refused to step on the scale. I am now hearing that Kheder is out of tournament and under card fighter Josh Shockley will be stepping up and entering the tournament.
