Busy Sunday for sportsbooks and online betting fans. We’ll start our day with a baseball betting position in a National League matchup between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers.  Both teams have done little more than ‘tread water’ in the early going, with the Cubs at 8-10 and the Brewers at 8-9.  This game goes at 11:10 AM Pacific from Miller Park and will be televised on WTBS in the US.

Chicago Cubs (Randy Wells) at Milwaukee Brewers (Dave Bush)
April 25, 11:10 AM Pacific

Cubs have done well against Milwaukee in recent years–they won 10 of 17 meetings last year, and are 23-15 dating back to 2008.  They’ve taken the first two games of this series and 4 of the first 5 meetings this year.  Milwaukee lost a ton of money at home last year (-14.65 units) and are 3-5 -2.4 units to date this season.  Dave Bush has been a bright spot in the Brewers rotation with a 2.41 ERA, but we’re really big on his Cubs counterpart Randy Wells.  Wells checks in with a 2.45 ERA overall and has allowed only 1 earned run in two road starts good for a 0.75 ERA away from Wrigley Field.  Like the rest of the Brewers, Bush has struggled against the Cubs during his career with his team losing 13 of his 16 starts against Chicago.  At a near ‘pick’em’ price we really like the pitching matchup advantage for Chicago and will back them as they should get the sweep and continue to dominate head to head play against the Brewers.

Bet Chicago Cubs (Randy Wells) -105 over Milwaukee Brewers (Dave Bush)
