Knockout of the Night:

Carlos Condit
Submission of the Night:

Tito Ortiz
Preliminary card (Televised)

Lightweight bout:

George Sotiropoulos vs. Rafael dos Anjos

Sotiropoulos immediately started the pressure on dos Anjos, and threw some light leg kicks. Dos Anjos circled away from them when Sotiropoulos closed the distance and started throwing hooks. Dos Anjos started throwing hooks of his own, and one laded squarely on Sotiropoulos’ chin, spinning his head the other direction and sending him to the mat. Dos Anjos dove in for the finish, but the Ref stopped the action right there after seeing the lights go out on Sotiropoulos.

Rafael dos Anjos defeats George Sotiropoulos by KO (Punch) at 0:59 of round one.
Lightweight bout:

Melvin Guillard vs. Shane Roller

Guillard came out and started showing his speed to Shane Roller, and it was like Roller just couldn’t catch up to him. Guillard was on his toes jumping in and out of the pocket all while landing decent combinations. Roller landed a nice left hook on Guillard that changed his demeanor. From that point on it was all business for Guiilard. A left hook combo drops Roller to the mat, but he scrambles to his feet only to eat another straight right hand from Guillard that sends him right back down. Guiilard dove in and pounded out Roller until he went out.

Melvin Guillard defeats Shane Roller by KO (Punches) at 2:12 of round one.
Main card

Welterweight bout:

Carlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim

Kim immediately grabbed a hold of Condit and slammed him to the mat with authority. However, Condit grabbed a hold of Kim’s arm and used it to sweep Kim, and he ended up in full mount. Condit went for a guillotine, and Kim slipped out of it and got to his feet. Condit jumped in with a flying knee that caught Kim right on the face that sent him flying straight back into the fence. Condit dove in, and took mount while landing rights and lefts to Kim’s head. Until the Ref stopped the fight.

Carlos Condit defeats Dong Hyun Kim by TKO (Flying Knee & Punches) at 2:58 of round one.

Lightweight bout:

Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman

This was a pretty good fight all said and done, and it has many people clamoring to hate on the judges. However, I thought they scored it perfectly. The first round clearly went to Siver because he stopped all the takedowns, or popped right back up when taken down, and obviously out struck him. The second round was clearly Wiman’s round, as he took Siver down and pounded on him for at least 2 minutes and ripped open Siver’s forehead with at least two cuts from elbows. That leaves the third round, and I thought Siver did more than enough to take the round with his striking and avoiding the ground game of Wiman. This was a close fight, but not close enough to warrant all the hub bub surrounding this match.
Dennis Siver defeats Matt Wiman via unanimous decision (29–28, 29–28, 29–28).
Light Heavyweight bout:

Tito Ortiz vs. Ryan Bader

After trading pawing jabs, and Bader throwing a few leg kicks, Ortiz rushed in with a ‘one-two’ that caught Bader. Bader obviously was rattled from the punch, and Tito rushed in after smelling the blood. Bader dove head first at the knees of Ortiz, but was no where near finishing the takedowns. With Bader’s neck exposed, Ortiz grabbed a hold of it and jumped guard for the guillotine choke. Bader tried to fight it off, but it was too deep and was forced to tap.
Tito Ortiz defeats Ryan Bader by Submission (Guillotine Choke) at 1:56 of round one.
Middleweight bout:

Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben

This one was over as soon as it started. Silva came wading in with punches, and one of the landed square on the chin of Leben. Instinctively, Leben started firing back and a left hook sent Silva to the the mat in a hurry. Leben jumped in for the finish, and the ref saved Silva from any more damage.
Chris Leben defeats Wanderlei Silva via KO (punches) at 0:27 of round one.
Bantamweight Championship bout:

Dominick Cruz (c) vs. Urijah Faber

All five rounds were close in this fight. No one is disputing that, but I am willing to argue that Faber didn’t win any rounds. Round 1 was razor close, so I wrote it up with a 10-10, and the other rounds I gave to Cruz. Cruz jumped in and out of the pocket, and spent most of the fight confusing Faber with his movement. The few times where it looked like Faber really tagged Cruz, and Cruz stumbled, I think if you watch the tape you will notice it was either because he was off balance or he slipped. This was a great fight, and an easy fight of the night winner, and this one is the must see of UFC 132.

Dominick Cruz defeats Urijah Faber via unanimous decision (50–45, 49–46, 48–47) to retain the UFC Bantamweight Championship.
