While the big event at sportsbooks on Saturday will be the NCAA hoops Final Four, we’ve got some good sports betting options as well. We’ll take a look at a Western Conference matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks. The LA Lakers have a 5 game advantage over 2nd place Dallas and Phoenix, but the Western Conference race is tight throughout. This game is very important for both teams in terms of their playoff seedings.

Thunder have been off since Wednesday and will be rested and ready for this matchup. Mavs are a decent 26-12 SU at home but are a disaster against the spread covering only 9 games at American Airlines Arena this year for a 9-28 ATS mark. The Thunder have given the Mavs fits defensively this season, holding Dallas to an average of 95 PPG in three meetings. OKC has also dominated the ATS head to head matchup–they’ve covered 4 of the last 5 at Dallas and 7 of 10 overall. Thunder will host lowly Minnesota at home on Sunday, so no chance of them looking past this matchup.
We’ll also look for this game to go Under the total. OKC doesn’t get the respect they deserve for their defense, but they’re ranked #4 in defensive FG percentage. Look for them to take Dirk Nowitski out of his game and win outright in a low scoring affair. 7 of the L10 head to head have gone Under the total.
