NBA Betting Picks: Toronto Raptors @ Indiana Pacers
Added on Jan 11, 2010 by Jack Thurman in
The Toronto Raptors dropped to .500 on Sunday after a home loss to the Boston Celtics, and they’ll try to get back on the winning path Monday night as they travel to Indiana for a game against the Pacers. They’ve got a good opportunity to pull out the road win, as the Pacers have struggled all year though did get a boost earlier this weekend with the return of Danny Granger from injury. We’ve got some sports betting to do on this game:
Toronto Raptors at Indiana Pacers
January 11, 4:05 PM Pacific
Toronto is still in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff hunt despite their .500 record and they’ll face an Indiana team with a woeful 11-25 SU record and a pointspread record that’s not much better at 14-22. On their home floor, they’re 8-9 SU and 7-10 against the number. Despite Sunday’s loss, the Raptors are in good form winning 8 of 10 SU and covering 7 of those games. Toronto has really taken care of business against the Central Division this year, winning 7 of 8 SU and against the pointspread.
Though they did get some good news lately with Granger’s return to the lineup, that’s about the only positive development the Pacers have had in quite some time. Indiana has only 2 wins in their last 13 games, and only a 5-8 ATS mark in that stretch. This is Toronto’s only game until Friday, so there should be plenty of focus here. Though the Pacers have done well as a favorite this season with a 6-4 ATS/7-3 SU mark can’t really understand why they’re favored here against a team playing some of their best basketball of the year. We look for the Raptors to win without much trouble, and as a small underdog that’s all we need them to do in order to cash our ticket.
Bet Toronto +1′ over Indiana
