We’ll take a look at Game 4 of the Western Conference series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder. Lakers won the first two games in Los Angeles, only to drop game 3 when the series shifted to Oklahoma City.

The Lakers lost game three, but they’re not about to let the upstart Thunder even the series. Statistically, a team that loses the first two games on the road is a very strong play to win game three. It’s common sense, as every one who follows the NBA knows that a team has never come back from a 3-0 series deficit. The 2-0 team comes in with far less motivation than their opponents playing for their very survival on their home floor.
So this time we’ve got a different dynamic but the Lakers are still road underdogs. At this price they just need to get the outright win, which brings us back to the fact that they’ve dominated the Thunder SU since before the team even moved to Oklahoma City. The Lakers have won 12 of the last 14 overall and 5 of the L7 in Oklahoma City. They were a winning team on the road all season, and clearly know how to win games and series in the playoffs. They won’t let the Thunder back in this series and will get the outright victory in game 4. At this price, that’s all we need for them to do.
