Quarterback

Jon Kitna, Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys might be out of playoff contention in the NFC Conference at the time being, but they have played extremely well on the offensive side of the football over the past two weeks and one of the main reasons for their recent success has been the play of veteran quarterback Jon Kitna.

Even though everyone has been waiting for Kitna to starting struggling, the veteran QB has thrown six touchdowns in the last two games and seems to be in tune with this offense. Great pickup if your in need for a quarterback.

Running Back

Mike Goodson, Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are arguably one of the worst teams in the league this season and with every passing week they just seem to be getting worse due to injuries and lack of consistently good play from the quarterback position.

Fortunately, the Panthers have gotten some good production from backup running back Mike Goodson as he has become a valid fantasy football option at RB.

Wide Receiver

Sidney Rice, Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are pretty much out of the playoff race in the NFC Conference right now, much like the Dallas Cowboys, but veteran quarterback Brett Favre has gotten his favorite target back in Pro Bowl wide receiver Sidney Rice.

Even though Rice only had 50+ yards last week, the Pro Bowl wideout should put up some quality numbers in the coming weeks and would be a solid pickup.

Tight End

Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t known as an strong offensive team, but after last week’s dominant performance over the Oakland Raiders every player on the offensive side of the football has gotten could turn into a viable fantasy football option including tight end Heath Miller.

Defense

Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns aren’t known for their defense or their offense for that matter, but of all the defenses that are most likely available in your fantasy football league, the Browns are the best option right now if you need a defense.
